As a boy, Alexi worked for the Muster as a messenger and a set of eyes during "recruitment" operations. The relatives of one of the "recruits" managed to get their hands on Alexi, and decided to express their displeasure by returning him as a eunuch. The Muster in turn expressed their displeasure by wiping out the entire family, but that didn't help Alexi.

Roughly the size and shape of a Sumo wrestler, Alexi makes a superb bodyguard. He's not the best shot, nor is he particularly good with a blade, but anyone he gets his hands on tends to wind up as a puddle of goo.
